Flash course

You will learn:

• Flash basics and work environment
• The stage, the timeline, the library, symbols, instances and interactive movies
• Vector and bitmap graphics
• Create a movie, set its properties, preview and test it
• Create graphics, text, draw lines, ovals and rectangles etc
• Use the graphics tools such as pencil, brush, ink bottle, paint bucket, dropper and eraser etc
• Using the timeline, using scenes and using the library window
• How to use context menu
• Insert objects, e.g. word, excel, powerpoint document and many other types
• Object manipulation, stacking, scaling, rotating and flipping objects
• Group and break apart objects
• Create, transform and reshape type blocks
• Import artwork and manipulate it.
• Use layers, setting layer properties, guide layer and mask layer
• Symbols and instances
• Create graphic, movie and button symbols
• Breaking apart instances and using symbols from other movies
• Creating animation, frame-by-frame animation and tweened animation
• Animation with layers
• Span still image over a number of frames as background
• Motion tweening animations
• Adding sound to a movie
• Publish and export a movie
• Using symbols from other movies
• Distinguishing animations in the Timeline
• Tweened animation
• Tweening instances, groups, and type
