You will learn:

• Paths and tool pointer in drawing
• Drawing with the pen tool and drawing shapes
• Drawing and editing brushed paths
• Manage burshes and use the brush libraries
• Tracing artwork
• Using rulers and the measure tool
• Using smart guides
• Selecting objects, moving, copying, manipulating and deleting objects
• Rotating the x and y axes and stacking objects
• Grouping and ungrouping objects
• Locking and ungrouping objects
• Transforming objects and using the Transform palette
• Modifying shapes with filters and effects
• Creating line effects and blending shapes
• Using the pen and link filters
• Working with compound paths and working with clipping masks
• Using objects with transparency
• Displaying the transparency grid and setting transparency preferences
• Specifying transparendy and creating opacity masks
• Selecting blending modes
• Undertand gradients, gradient meshes and blends
• Creating and working with gradient fills
• Creating and working with patterns
• Using the Layers palette and creating layered artwork
• Creating clipping masks and creating template layers
