SQL Statements Course

Understanding SQL statements is essential for writing efficient web-based data manipulation programs. You will learn:

  • Building Database and tables

  • The LIKE statement and wildcard patterns
  • Use the WHERE clause to specify a criteria for the selection

  • Use ORDER BY to return rows in ascending or descending order.
  • Using the INSERT statement to insert new rows into a table

  • Use the GROUP BY function

All the exercises with the SQL commands will be tested using ASP and Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
